Most Common Bosch Refrigerator Error Codes:

  • E01

    Temperature Sensor Error: Remove from power and check the wiring harness on the temperature sensor. If no damage is found with the wiring, replace the temperature sensor. 

  • E02

    Freezer Temperature Sensor Error: Remove from power and check the wiring harness on the freezer temperature sensor. If no damage is found with the wiring, replace the temperature sensor. 

  • E03

    Temperature Controlled Drawer Temperature Sensor Error: Unplug the refrigerator from power and remove the temperature-controlled drawer. Locate the temperature sensor on the right side of the fridge compartment liner. Check for any loose or damaged wires and replace them as needed. Replace the wiring harness if no damage is found with the wiring or replace the temperature sensor.

  • E10

    Control Board Failure: Disconnect the fridge from power for 3 minutes to see if the code resets itself. If not, replace the control board.

  • E11

    Display Control Module Error: Disconnect the fridge from power for 3 minutes to see if the code resets itself. If not, replace the control board.

  • E15

    Ambient Temperature Sensor Error: Disconnect the fridge from power for 3 minutes to see if the code resets itself. If not, replace the control board.

  • E20

    Communication Error Between Display Board and Control Board Module: Unplug from power and check all the wiring between the control board and display board. Replace any loose or damaged wires. If no damage is found, replace the control board or display board. To know if one needs to be replaced, check for any burnt spots.

  • E21

    Communication Error Between Control Board and Ice/Water Dispenser Control: Disconnect from power and check all wiring between the control board and water/ice dispenser control. If no damage is found, replace the control module or water/ice dispenser control.

Most Common Bosch Dishwasher Error Codes:

  • E01, E02, E03, E04, or E05

    Power Module Failure: Anytime one of these codes appears, the dishwasher will automatically lock and power down until a certified technician repairs it.

  • E06

    Door Error: Check to see if anything is blocking the door from closing and locking. If no obstructions are found, replace the door switch sensor.

  • E07

    Fan Error: If an issue is found with the fan, you will notice that your dishes are coming out wet when the cycle is completed. Check the fan wiring for any loose connections or damage and replace them. If no damage is found, the fan needs to be replaced.

  • E08

    Water Not Covering Heating Element: If water is covering the heating element, the heating element or water pump needs to be replaced.

  • E09 or E10

    Water Not Heating: Check for any buildup on the heating element. Check all wiring on the heating element and replace any damaged wires or replace the entire wiring harness. If no damage is found, replace the heating element.

  • E11

    Thermostat or Temperature Sensor Error: Check for any loose or damaged wires on the temperature sensor. Replace the temperature sensor if no damage is found.

  • E13

    Water Temperature Heating Above 75C: Ensure that the incoming water is coming from the cold water pipe. If it is, replace the thermostat.

  • E15

    Dishwasher Base Leaking Water: Ensure all water is drained from the dishwasher and check for any leaks. This code requires a certified technician to ensure that no further damage is caused to the surrounding area of the dishwasher. 

  • E16

    Water Inlet Valve Error: Turn off the water and ensure that thewater inlet valve is properly attached. Turn off the power for 3 minutes to see if this clears the code. If not, your dishwasher requires a certified technician to repair it.

  • E17

    Water Level Too High: This error code will appear when the dishwasher is at risk of overflowing. Check for any obstructions to the drain or replace the sensor.

  • E18

    Insufficient Water Supply: Check the water inlet valve to make sure it is turned on. If so, replace the faulty inlet valve.

  • E20

    Electrical Short or Breaker Out: Check the wiring between the motor and the pump. Replace any damaged or loose connections, or replace the pump or motor.

  • E21

    Blockage of Circulating Pump: Check the circulating pump to ensure it is free from any obstructions. Replace the pump.

  • E23

    Electrical Short or Breaker Out: Check the wiring between the motor and the pump. Replace any damaged wires or replace the pump/motor.

  • E24 or E25

    Draining Problem: Check the drain for any obstructions and clean the filters. Replace the drain pump.

  • E26

    Water Switch/Regulator is Faulty: Check the water switch wiring harness. Replace any loose or damaged connections or replace the wiring harness.

  • E28

    Turbidity Sensor Error: When there is an issue with the turbidity sensor, you will notice that dishes are coming out not quite clean and that there will be debris left in the bottom of the dishwasher. Replace the turbidity sensor.

Most Common LG Washer Error Codes:

  • Er:01

    Door is Open: If the door is closed, unplug the washer and check the wiring on the door lock. Replace the door lock assembly.

  • Er:04

    Door Lock Relay Will Not Activate: Unplug the washer from power for 3 minutes to see if this clears the code. If the code is still appearing, replace the control module.

  • Er:05 or Er:06

    Water Temperature Sensor Failure: Unplug the washer from power and check the wiring on the water temperature sensor. If the wiring is okay, replace the temperature sensor.
